Thank you 2020. Yes, I said thank you.

Damn! What a year.

It has been one whole year since everyone said the sky is falling.

We were all supposed to be dead by now. Right? That’s what the media wanted us to believe.

*We all should be dead and there should be no more toilet paper or canned food anywhere. We all had to start wiping our asses with leaves or old paper ads or whatever.

*We all were supposed to stay at home to save lives and avoid sunshine and exercise and eating at restaurants but still drive through fast food places to fill up on toxic junk that is a poor excuse for “food’.

*We were supposed to put a diaper on our face to keep our respiratory systems healthy.

*We were supposed to keep our kids at home to try and distance learn. I’ll go into that one shortly.

*We were supposed to hate each other if someone was not complying.

*We were supposed to be doing all kinds of unbelievable bullshit.

I am here to tell you, it was bullshit.

Common sense was in shortage massively in 2020. That shortage was real and it was massively obvious. I do not claim to be the smartest one in the room but common sense had nothing to do with that.

There were so many red flags from what we were being told to do compared to what was going on if you actually took the time to look into it instead of just believing the pushed narrative. If anyone truly trusts the government at this point in thinking they have your best interests at heart, well I have some swamp land I can sell you.

Does the government call you to see if you are ok? Do they ask your opinion before they tax the hell out of you and then give you back some of your money in a tax refund that basically is them getting an interest free loan from you and the hours you put in? Do they work with you to give you the best health care options possible? Do they make sure you have awesome roads and prevent fires and do any of the stuff they claim they will do for you?

Fuck no!

They can’t even keep known carcinogens out of our food or personal care products. They don’ t care about you or your health and they haven’t for a very very long time.

So now all of a sudden they care?

Now they care about your health?

The answer is still a hard NO!

Already being suspicious of the government prior to 2020, well other than working from home 2020 still went on for me.

My family still traveled all over the US and thank you to those who were sitting at home scared, we enjoyed Disneyworld at only 25% capactiy.

We still went out to eat. Yes outdoor and indoor during times when both were considered illegal. Oh and without wearing masks.

We never quarantined when coming back from any trip out of town.

We went to church outdoor and indoor when it was considered illegal. (By the way if you still think our rights are not being infringed on, telling people their first amendment right is illegal is the biggest fucking red flag ever. You don’t have to be a person of faith to see how insanely wrong this one is.)

My kids hugged their grandparents and also dined indoors and went to church with them.

I pulled my kids out of public school after watching their mental health decline and we became a homeschool family. This one cracks me up because I used to talk so much shit about homeschooling and here we are. And neither of them want to ever go back. They have been opened to still getting an education but not having to waste all day long in a classroom where the teachers have to teach to the average kids in the classroom not the smartest.

My kids are already taking college courses now too so they will have their AA degree the same time they finish high school.

I have been able to work from home and now also may never go back to full in person work ever again because I can make a full living from home and be able to travel and go and do whatever I want.

My family has had an incredible year of time together. I had just been realizing that my kids won’t be home much longer before moving on to their adult lives and this last year with them here all the time, I would not trade it for the world.

So thank you 2020.

Thank you for the time.

For time taking a pause.

For opening my eyes to everything I learned from digging into the unpopular opinion to seek for truth.

For allowing my bullshit radar to fly off the handle and not just accept the shit we were being handed and connecting me with so many others who felt the same way.

Just bending over and taking the anal swab in the rear is not for me.

Label me a bitch if you want, but I see freedoms being toyed with and they are all of our freedoms.

I did not realize how much I stood for this country and our freedoms until paying attention to what went down this past year.

I am awake.

I am ready to do more for our freedom.

I am thankful for you if you have made it this far through this and are still reading!

So now it is time for more action.
